Q & A with Kamran
How did you get into financial services?
I got into financial services through university, where I studied Business Finance and Management at UEA. I had always been interested in finance, but I wanted to find a profession that aligned that interest with my core values: helping others, building meaningful relationships, being involved in people’s lives, and working in a role where I could genuinely enjoy interacting with others. I joined Insight in July 2019.
What are your areas of expertise?
Retirement planning, savings and investments, protection needs, estate planning, teachers pension schemes.
What do you love helping clients with?
Helping them achieve their goals and ambitions in life without the worry of running out of money.
What advice have you given that helped a client and made you proud?
I’ve supported clients by repositioning their assets in a way that has helped them retire earlier than they originally expected. I’ve also helped others gain clarity and confidence by creating clear, structured financial plans to fund important goals and future needs, such as long-term care. In addition, I’ve arranged protection plans for clients to ensure they and their families are financially protected when it matters most.
Protection is a necessity and not a luxury.
My adviser has been incredibly thorough, patient and professional
Great service. After changing financial advisers, I realised just how valuable it is to have someone who takes the time to look at every aspect of your finances rather than making assumptions. Kamran has been incredibly thorough, patient and professional, helping me understand areas I had previously been uncertain about and ensuring I have a much clearer picture of my financial position.
