Q & A with Bardhe
How did you get into financial services and when did you join Insight?
I am from Albania and I began my career in the UK more than 21 years ago in adult education, working in operational management and managing government-funded projects with training providers, colleges and schools. My roles involved managing contracts, budgets and teams, alongside experience in accountancy, which further developed my interest in finance. Moving into financial advice felt like a natural next step, combining my financial experience with my enjoyment of helping people, solving problems and building long-term relationships. I joined Insight in 2025.
What are your areas of expertise?
I help individuals, families and business owners make sense of their finances and plan with confidence for the future. My work covers pensions and retirement planning, savings and investments, protection, tax-efficient planning and cashflow modelling.
For me, good financial advice starts with really understanding the client, their circumstances, what matters to them, what they would like to achieve and any concerns they may have.
What do you love helping clients with?
I love helping clients feel more confident and in control of their finances.
Money can often feel complicated or overwhelming, particularly when there are different pensions, investments, savings accounts and protection policies to consider.
I enjoy taking the time to understand what is important to each client and helping them see the bigger picture.
Many people think financial advice is only for the wealthy or those approaching retirement, but that is simply not true. The earlier you start planning, the more options you may have, and small decisions can make a meaningful difference over time.
Can't recommend Bardhe enough!
Was so impressed with my experience! I was greeted professionally and offered a drink on arrival and then taken to a private room for my meeting. I have never seen a financial adviser before and I had an initial meeting with Bardhe.
I met Bardhe for the first time at the “She Means Business Event”, a women in business networking event, hosted and run at Insight.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever spent money on?
Spending money on my children’s activities. Between them, they have tried almost every activity possible before finding the things they truly love. What’s something colleagues would be surprised to learn about you?
I was born in Albania and have lived in the UK for more than 22 years, so I bring a little Albanian spirit and determination to everything I do.
